Simulation Study of Ultrasonic Elliptical Vibration Cutting of TiC Particle-Reinforced Titanium Matrix Composites

چکیده

In order to investigate the characteristics of elliptical ultrasonic vibration cutting TiC particle-reinforced titanium matrix composites, a two-dimensional thermodynamic coupled finite element model was established based on Johnson-Cook intrinsic structure using ABAQUS simulation software, and changes in force, temperature, machined surface shape, particle fragmentation were obtained under traditional method method. The results show that same process parameters, is better than conventional terms profile; stress direction tends be horizontal during particles are mainly removed by off. average force significantly lower cutting, with maximum reduction 60%. temperature also reduced, approximately 17.6%.
